Queen's Commerce Kira Talent Questions: Past Questions to Practise With
Real Kira Talent questions from past Queen's Commerce applications, to practise with before your 2025/2026 supplemental.

With the application deadline approaching, I know there is someone out there who has waited until the last minute to complete their application due to their anxiety. Heres my gift to you, a few of this years questions:
Written Questions:
1. Tell us about a time when you had to take a variety of approaches before you were successful. How did you react and what did you do? Looking back, would you have done anything differently and why?
2. Describe a time you were working towards a goal and something held you back. What held you back, and how did you overcome it? Looking back would you change anything, and why?
3. Tell me about a time when you worked on a task or project and experienced an unexpected change at the last minute. How did you react and ensure the task was still completed? Looking back, would you have done anything differently and why?
Video Questions:
1. Please tell us about a time where you were assigned a role in a group setting that you did not initially see yourself fit for. Describe how you overcame the challenge. Looking back, would you have done anything differently, why or why not?
2. Please tell us about a time when you were working in a group and there was a disagreement between two team members. How did you navigate this situation and/or would you have done anything differently? What personal qualities did you use that you can bring to a future group?
3. Please tell us about a time when you were working in a group and a compromise was necessary for the benefit of the team. Why did you make this compromise and/or would you have done anything differently? What personal qualities did you use that you can bring to a future group setting?
